Split stay ticket question

I apologize if this has been covered somewhere...I looked around a bit and didn’t see anything. Anyway, I have a 6 night stay booked at Caribbean Beach with free dining Nov 27 to Dec 3, followed by 9 nights offsite. I have purchased 9-day park hopper passes for all of us. Here’s the question...when I look at the tickets on MDE, they say “valid through dec 3” (check-out day). Does that just mean they need to be activated by then?

Yes, you will be fine. You will only be able to make 60 day FP selections for the six days at CBC - any park days you plan for while offsite, you'll have to wait until 30 days prior to book. That's the one hitch.

No, after checkout day you will be able to book your remaining days on a rolling 60 day window

If you are asking only about the tickets (regardless of FP), your tickets will be valid for up to 14 days after you first use them.

Regarding the FP implications, here is the relevant portion from the Split Stays post in the FP FAQ:
Onsite Package Stay followed by Offsite Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the onsite package stay and will extend until the checkout date of the onsite package stay. Additionally, the booking window will roll forward (a “rolling 60”) each day beyond the onsite package checkout date until the guest checks out of the onsite resort.

Thanks, all! Yes, I had read on here about the fastpasses, which is fine. I’ll just try for the hardest ones during the first 6 days. I was just a little concerned about the expiration date I saw. Glad to know I have 14 days. So, if I use them on Tuesday November 27th, the last day I can use them is Monday December 10th? Or the 11th?
