Split stay ticket question

I have a friend that is going to Disney in Oct and staying at AOA in a LM room for a week. They have a dining plan (not free dining since it wasn't part of the promotion). After she made her reservations, flights went down if they went a day early, but there is no LM room open. She keeps waiting (if it does open, they will add it to the package with the dining plan), but as a backup is thinking she could stay the night at Pop then move over the next morning. The question is, can they use their park tickets that Thursday (they check into LM on Friday)? We both know they can't use any dining credits. Also, does Bell services move their luggage? I have never done a split stay and this is their first time. Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure on the ticket but my guess would be that however she ordered the ticket, she got a voucher number if she doesn't have the actual ticket in hand. I'd think that if both magic bands are listed to the same MDE account, she should be able to have the resort activate the ticket on the AOA MB and use that. They say the MB works for like 2 years after checkout so why not a day before?

Where I can actually respond to your question....I have done split stays several times, yes bell services will move the luggage for her. They can bring it down to bell services or have them bring it down for her, go to the park or whatever plans for the day, and it'll arrive in the next hotel room. Usually it's waiting for us in the room. There is no added fee for this service, it's like using Magical Express from the airport.

She can pick up her park tickets at Guest Relations at a park up to 3 days in advance of the start of her package. Post 15-I in the ticket sticky explains the procedure. The info about KTTW cards is no longer valid, but the steps to get her package tickets in advance are accurate:

She can take her luggage to luggage assistance and arrange to have them transferred to AoA. Most likely it will not be avaiiable until late afternoon so anything she'll need during that day she'll need to take with her. After she checks in at AoA and gets to her room she can call to have her luggage delivered. Unlike arriving with DME when your luggage will be automatically delivered to the room, usually with transfers from another resort it will not be. Someone needs to be in the room when it is delivered.

Alternatively your friend could take a taxi with all her luggage to AoA and check in since she'll have to activate the dining plan. If the room is not ready she can leave her luggage with bell services and call for it once she's in her room later in the day.

Thanks! I looked in the ticket thread and didn't know if it was still valid.
