I have a few points that would be left over either this year or next year and I am trying to decide what to do…. I have a tower studio booked at Riviera for 6 nights in November for 100 points, I would have 7 leftover points.

Should I

1. Do a split stay are riviera 3 nights in a regular studio and 3 nights in a tower studio for 109 points?

Or

2. Push the extra 7 points to next year and try to use them with the risk being I’m unable to use them?

I’d push them. I’ve done a split stay at the same resort, makes it a bit easier but packing up to not even experience another resort isn’t something I would do again.

The latter. Done be homeless from 11am to 4pm including having to pack…

Split stays are okay when you're moving resorts but yeah they are the pits when it's the same resort. You have to pack up and deal with your luggage somehow, while waiting for your next room to get ready. It's a PITA.

Push'em. Who knows maybe the addonitis will bite before the next trip and those 7 points can really be put to work along with your new contract(s) and get you a nicer split stay next year.
