How can I get transferred to Guest Services? Can I just ask?

Yes. Be persistent, some CM don't want to relinquish the call. GS still may not be able to do it 100% of the time, but they are the only ones that can, if anyone can.

maybe it's glitchy (like everything else at Disney!) because we just did a triple split stay and on both our change days, charging did not work anywhere we tried.

I guess. We do split stays every trip and have never had a problem. Nor have we ever had any problems charging on the day we leave. Is that something that normally is an issue for you? Charging on check out day? Maybe there's something else wrong with your account?

I would check-out early, Uber over to your new resort, check-in, and leave your bags with bell services. Your room probably won't be ready until later in the afternoon, but you can spend the day at the Parks and not worry about baggage arriving.

We had a rental car which made moving on our split stay easy. I don't recall any issues charging to magic bands on that day. When we arrived at the second resort we checked in - our room was available! Annoyingly we couldn't go to it as we had an Akershus PPO ADR we had to rush to (staying at Beach Club). That's the only time I have ever had a room ready when arriving early...

I did a split stay last year went from AS Sports to Coronado Springs. When I called Bell Services it was going to be 30 minutes before they could get there because they were very busy. I wanted to get to the parks and be able to use our magic bands. So I checked out, got into an Uber to CS, checked-in, and left our luggage with Bell Services there since our room wasn't ready. It took less than an hour to do this and then was were able to be in the parks all day long with charging privileges. Make sure you go to the desk to check-out because you cannot check-in until you have closed out the prior stay.

I just called and the CM kindly (proactively!) checked for 1 day stay and put me on hold to see whether GS can add this to my profile and they did!!!!

We'd do split stays next time!! We'd love to explore different resorts, when possible!

This time, we wanted to stick to CBR as we have that $75 GC offer, which makes any other resort more expensive than CBR.
The downside is that CBR is under construction and don't have much food options. But last time we went, we only dined at CBR food court twice in our 14 day trip. We have less park days this time (only 2), but want to hang out at DS, go visit different resorts, spend time taking boats, monorails, etc, so we should be okay (hopefully!)

At the Value resorts it's usually advisable to walk your bags to them yourself. They don't have the same staffing that the others do. There's never that long a wait at the other resorts, even at 11:00 when everyone is checking out.
