Hello!!

We are leaving for our trip this Saturday! (yay yay yay!) We will be doing a split stay b/t Coronado and then Caribbean Beach.

My question is: Will Disney provide a transfer of any kind or will we need to arrange that on our own? We have 3 small kids so I just want to be prepared. =)

Thanks in advance!

There's no Disney Bus that will take your family and luggage straight to your new resort. You can leave your luggage when you check out with Bell Services and they'll move your luggage over to your new resort later in the day. You can then head to a park and then when finished, take a bus to your new resort. If you want to go straight to the new resort with your luggage you'll need to get a cab or an Uber. We did a split stay between those resorts a couple years ago, I loved both resorts. Have fun!

Last split stay I need... had bell service take my luggage to the new resort. Hopped on a bus to which park I had planned that day. From the Park took the new resort bus to check in :-). Heads up that luggage takes a while to be transferred. Longer then the 3 hour DME time.

Lynzer4 said it best. I would advise you to call the front desk at Coronado and ask them too....I would even do it before you leave from home. CBR is our fave and only resort BTW....we LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Hope you guys do too!20160818_154815.jpg

You can arrange for bell services to transfer your luggage - at CSR call them to arrange the transfer and come pick up your bags (or bring your bags to bell services and arrange it. At CBR do the reverse, go pick up your bags at bell services or call to have them delivered to your room, we tipped at both ends as the service was great. I would pack a day bag with any essentials as the transfer can take all day - don't expect your bags to be at the new resort prior to check in time. We then head to a park via Disney transportation and then return to the new resort after check in time.

Alternately you can call a cab/uber/etc. and go straight to the new resort with your bags, your room likely won't be ready but you can still store them with bell services.

What makes it super simple is on transfer day - have bell services pick up your luggage in the AM- head to the park for the day and then just take the bus to your new resort to check in. We did that when going from CBR to SSR. Just pack your usual park bag, but if you go to the new resort in the afternoon then your luggage should be available and ready for you to go to your new room. Disney makes it very easy.

We love split stays -- it is almost like 2 vacations in one!
