Split stay question

We are doing our first split stay starting with one night at the Polynesian club level with no tickets or dining plan. We will be going to MNSSHP this night. The rest of our stay will be at Port Orleans French Quarter with plus dining and park hoppers. My question is, on day two of our trip, will we be able to go to MK from the Poly and use our tickets and dining plan without going to French Quarter first to check in? Is this something Poly cl concierge can help with? I plan to do online check in if that helps.

You will need to check in to use the Dining Plan and Tickets on the package. Online check-in should be sufficient, but you may end up needing to visit guest services. It can be flaky.

This. The last time we went (last fall), we had checked in online for both legs of our split stay....same situation, one night with no tickets, then 6 nights with tickets. Stayed our first night, then headed to AK for our first ticket day. Wouldn't let us in the gate, and had to make a quick trip over to GS to get everything in order.

We do split stays often by design. It has been our experience that you physically need to check in to get the Dining Plan activated. ENJOY!

And I believe that you need to check out of the first resort before you check in to the second stay

When I check out at Poly, can they check if the magic bands for the 2nd part of my stay are ready to go? That way I can go to MK for a few hours before heading to French Quarter? I will not have a car and it will take a lot of park time out of the morning if I have to go to French Quarter first.

I will have to go to MK to catch a bus to French Quarter either way, so I guess I will try to head into the park, if it doesn't work, I will head to French Quarter and skip MK for the morning. Thanks for the replies.

Following - I just asked a similar question/similar issue. Not doing the dining plan but wondering about the tickets for the next day.

You don't have to do that. If it doesn't work, simply go to Guest Services there at the MK gate, and they can get you fixed up in a matter of seconds.
