Split stay question

We are doing a split stay at the same resort 8/31-9/2 and then 9/2 to 9/6. We only have park tickets from 9/2 to 9/6. Check in is in the late afternoon. My question is on 9/2 can we get our tickets early in the morning or do we have to wait untill we officially recheck in that day? Thanks!

Why wait to get your tickets? They can be purchased at any time.

You will be able to check-in and get your tickets at 6:00 or 7:00am on 9/2.

Some have had luck accessing their tickets a few days early, also. You will still have to check-out and back in for the second part of your hotel reservation, though.

Got it. I just didnt want to have to wait till 4pm to recheck it and not be able to use the tickets in the morning. Thanks!

We do split stays pretty much every trip and have your same scenario. They can check you in at new resort first thing and give you KTTW cards with your tickets, and no room assignment until later... no worries

We have also managed to get our tickets as a separate thing early, but not sure that will work anymore with all the changes.

Currently you can still pick up your park tickets up to 3 days before the start of the package reservation that includes the tickets. The procedure is explained in post 15-I of the ticket sticky that is maintained by a DW ticketing CM. Here's the link to the sticky:
