Split Stay Question

We're planning our annual August trip. Currently, we're booked for 5 nights at AKV and 6 nights at BLT. I'm going to add 2-3 nights to the beginning of the trip to make it a 2 week trip. I'm torn between adding the additional nights at AKV or trying a third resort. Is a three resort split too much? Or should we just split our time evenly between AKV and BLT?

We usually split between 3 and 4 resorts. I find it very enjoyable because its like several vacations in one. Every time we check into a new resort is so exciting and fun. Personally ... I really love starting out at one of the moderates (POR is my favorite) and then "upgrading" to the deluxes.

With Express Checkout ... you dont have to do anything ..... just vacate the room.

Checking in only takes 10 mins if you go around 2:00 pm (if your room is not ready, they will still check you in and they will text you the room number when it is)

I vote split!!! If I were you, with AK and MK so close to your other resorts, I would pick an EP resort! Close to AK with AKV, monorail or walk to MK with BLT and walk or take boat to EP and DHS from an EP resort - DREAM TRIP!!!

Depends on how much time you wil stay at the resort. We like to split with 2 resorts, but for 2 extra days, I'd just add on to AKL. We did do a 3 split last Aug, our first night we stayed at the DTD Doubletree to save some $ because we were arriving later, and didn't need the DDP our first day. In hind sight, I wished I just booked a room only for the first night at our first resort, we did 7 nights POR & 5 nights BC.

Two days of the boardwalk is a great way to start the trip. If you don't need Stormalong bay, I think I prefer BWV. But I stay in BC every year because of the pool, even though I don't use it much.

Deciding between BCV and BWV is hard! Both are great resorts and the location is amazing. The one thing I need to decide is if I want to pack/unpack twice!
