Split stay question

For those DVC members that have done a split stay- Does Dis take all your belongings to new room? How does that work?

We are considering a split stay next summer...

Bell services will move your luggage from first resort to second. You can call to arrange or stop by at counter.

You can drop off luggage to bell services in the lobby at your first resort on check out day or they can pick it up at your villa providing someone is there in the villa waiting. At second resort either pick up or when you are in villa call to have luggage brought up (again someone needs to be there).

Just know that your luggage may not arrive at second resort until late afternoon so if you want to swim or change clothes for an early dinner you may want to have those things in a bag you will carry.

They will also move your groceries - you'll have to pack them all up, but they will move them to the new resort. BUT, they will be refrigerated at the resorts. But while they are in transit (and you don't know how long that is), they will not be refrigerated.
