There are a lot of questions on here (and elsewhere) about Split Stays, but I wasn't able to find this particular question...

I'm booking a split stay for October. Two nights at one resort and then four nights at the second, both onsite. When I go to buy tickets on the first reservation, it will only allow me to buy a 3-day tickets. I realize I could simply buy the tickets separately, however:
  1. If I purchase the tickets separately, are they still able to be canceled, as they would be in a hotel+ticket package?
  2. If they are not refundable if bought separately, how can I do this so that I can get a 6-day ticket that can be canceled alongside the hotel reservation 30 days ahead of time?
Thanks!

I recommend calling Disney and have them add the number of ticket days you need to the first reservation. While you cannot add them online, the agents can add them for you. Just explain that you are staying longer. If you purchase tickets separately it will cost a whole lot more and those tickets will be non-refundable. Tickets on your package will be refundable, but you will be subject to any cancel or change fees if you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival.
