Split Stay On/Off and Park Parking

We are doing a split stay, with our first two nights onsite before we switch to HI OL for the rest of our stay. Since parking at the parks is free for onsite people, does anyone know how it works for onsite vs offsite?

It's been a while since we've been offsite and I'm not sure if MBs and such have changed it.

$20 for normal parking and $35 for preferred (close to the park). If you get free parking (annual pass) then it's free and $15 for preferred.

You'll get free parking on your onsite check-out day, after that you pay $20 a day.
