I have a res for FW Oct 30-Nov1, BWV 2BR Nov 1-4, BWV add on night in 1BR Nov 4. I selected FP+ for all days of my visit. In the magic bands section there is a set of magic bands for each res i have (3 sets). Anyone else had this experience? Did you end up with 1 band or multiple? Should I customize/confirm address for all 3?

Also, I bought a PAP and have not activated it yet, just entered the confirmation number on the site to link the tickets. What do I do when we arrive- go to guest services and have them set it up with my magic bands? Does FW have somewhere to do that or is it right outside the entry gates at the Magic Kingdom?

The eventual goal is only using 1 magicband for your PAP, which would include all of your stays that year, but I think right now they are sending 1 per reservation.
I think you can manage which magic band(s) are active in your DME profile.

Since specific stays get FP+ right now, I'm guessing you want to get magic bands for every segment, so you can reserve FP+

Yes. I actually have selected FP+ for each day. Guess tht means for now during this rollout phase ill have 3 sets. Suppose I can hold on to extras in case we should ever loose!

Nothing is actually stored on the bands. The chip they contain simply accesses your information from the Disney database. That means that any band that has been assigned to you will access that information, making all of your bands interchangeable.

As the PP said, eventually they will send just one per person and you will use it for several years. Right now they are sending a set per reservation so just pick different colors and enjoy! :)

Since I just entered my confirmation number for my PAP, I will still have to get it all activated at Guest Services anyway, right? IE: they still have to do a finger scan and all?

Yes, you will still need to stop by Guest Services. You will not scan your finger at that time, you will do it the first time you enter a park with your new pass.

I had the same problems as you-split stay and only a PAP voucher. I ended up having to call MS, and yes, although the eventual plan is to reuse Magic Bands, during the testing phase, Disney wants you to have a separate band for each part. So here I sit with 3 Magic Bands. At one resort, DH is leaving after 3 days, so I'll switch from a 1 BR to a studio, therefore new Magic Band. And if you have a PAP voucher don't make the mistake I did. MDE seems to emphasize having a 12 digit code. Well, I have a 17 digit one but since the site said 12 digits, I tried every 12 digit combination I could think of. Finally, when I called MS, she patiently said "Did you try putting in all 17 digits?" Boy did I feel dumb-putting in all seventeen digits did it.
