We are staying at two separate DVC resorts and are getting the meal plan with each stay. I understand that the meal plans are separate and that I can't carry over for the length of entire vacation. But my question is - do we have to use up credits BEFORE we check in at the next resort? On day of checkout at first resort, we want to do table service breakfast (using first stay meal plan credits). If we already did online check-in for second stay is that going to mess up credits and want to take them from the second stay? Or should we have not done online check in and waited until after we had the table service breakfast before checking in at desk?

Hoping this isn't going to be harder than it should be.

You must finish using the credits from the first stay by midnight on the day you checked out of the first resort. They will expire at midnight.

It might help to explain to the server which pool you wish them to take credits from on that transition day.

you have two different magicbands right? I would just present the one from the stay you just ended..

Any active magic band can access the MDE information, so this won't work. Previous poster is right, you need to be very specific on the crossover day about which credit pool to use.

Neither the server nor the Magic bands can distinguish between the meal plans.

This is a scenario that should “just work” without any intervention. However, all credits (including snack credits) from the first stay must be used before any credits from the second stay can be used. You cannot choose which credits are used.

If you run into problems, just charge the meal to your room and have the concierge at the front desk fix it for you.

The number of magic bands doesn't matter. Each magic band assigned to you is accessing the same information from your account.

Good to know since I have a split stay both with DDP coming up.. Thanks..
There’s no way to be “specific” about which credits to use. You must use up all credits from the first stay before you have access to credits from the second. The server can’t do anything to change that.

Be diligent. Keep your receipts. Check in at concierge or online to see your balance

Heck the receipt should show how many ts credits ts remaining

But do check. Mistakes happen

Enjoy!
