Split Stay Magic Bands

I tried finding a thread for this specific scenario but couldn’t. We have a split stay booked and I went to reserve Magic Bands but accidentally booked them for the second resort reservation. That shouldn’t be a problem at our first resort, right?

I know that MB’s connect to your profile and not the reservation, so logically I know it should be fine but I want to make sure lol!!

Only possible problem would be if they don't mail the MBs out to you before your trip. They may send you an email that they will be waiting at your 2nd resort's front desk for pickup.

I was thinking about that too. Everything currently indicates that they’ll be shipped but I will just have to keep an eye out closer to the trip!
 

You can also use old ones if the new ones aren't' mailed to you.
 
Another issue for a split stay that happened to me last year. I left the AllStars without stopping to the front desk to "Check out." Later on my magic band wouldnt open my door at Boardwalk even after the 4:00 checkin. I had to walk all the way down to the front desk to have my magic bands fixed. Im not sure I believe that my "not checking out" was the real problem but thats what they blamed it on. So for all my split stays in the future- i will go check out.

Thank you! This is my first split stay so I think a walk down to the front desk on the way out of resort 1 will be the plan!
 
You should always let the front desk or call house keeping when you leave your room. The only real reason is so the room can be cleaned so the next family may get a room earlier than expected. BW rooms seem to be weird lately when you first open the door… you have to tap the MB twice… the first programs the band the second opens the door so I was told after going to the front desk said if we don’t do it correct we would need to have the band reprogramed again although one magic band worked 🤷‍♂️ Never had that issue before.
