Split stay Magic bands

I am strongly considering a split staybwhere we spend the first night in an value or moderate and I add 10 day park tickets. And maybe dining plan. Then we would switch to BWV rented with points with dining plan. I want to do this so I can use my ultimate rewards to pay for the first stay and pay for the park tickets this way. Will I be able to use the magic bands from the first night with the park tickets and have them switch my part 2 dining plan to the first set of bands or will we somehow be stuck with 2 bands?

Bands are not loaded with information. They are only a key to access your MDE account. You can have as many bands as you want tied to your account. If your MDE account can follow what you want to do, any band associated with that account will work.

Both bands will work with both reservations. As Marc D said, the bands simply access the info in your MDE account. There is nothing "on" them. If you only want one set of bands, however, you can always decline one of the sets. You will see this option in the MB customization section of your MDE account.

I think I see what you are trying to do, most of it should go off without any problems because like everyone said, your magic bands simply access your account, not a specific reservation.

I believe your park tickets are fine of course to extend from your first hotel, they should expire 14 days after first use.

I don’t think they will be able to start your dining plan from the second reservation early. I bet that it won’t activate until you check in on the second night, for your second hotel.
