Split Stay luggage question

We are coming down for two weeks in May/June. The first week, we are at a timeshare. The second week, we were going to check into Yacht Club because friends of ours were staying there. Now the friends have decided not to come. We can switch to Coronado for almost 70% less. Only problem is the Coronado doesn't have availability our first night. We are looking at doing one night at an All Stars, but we are wondering about our luggage. If we drop our bags off at Bell Services at All Star when we arrive and keep a day bag with us, would they keep it over night and then move it the next morning? Or do we have to take all of our luggage to our room that first night and then the next morning bring it back to Bell Services for transfer to Coronado?

Another question is does anyone have any tips for searching for a room that first night at Coronado? We have searched the site several times and tripadvisor, but the only rooms open are suites.

You can drop your luggage at AS and just keep your day bag with you.

The next morning I would go to bell services where they can initiate the transfer to CSR.

Not sure I would drop off at AS and leave instructions to transfer the next day.

You can also call bell services to deliver the bags to your room or pick up your bags for a transfer. No need to lug them yourself.

So I'm a bit confused....can they keep them overnight, or do we need to take them to our room and the next morning back to bell services?

I'm pretty sure they will keep them overnight. Though I would stop by bell services in the morning to ask for them to be transferred. I wouldn't leave instructions at drop off for them to be transferred the next day.

But you do not have to "take them" to your room, bell services will deliver them to your room. In the morning, you can call bell services to get your bags from your room for delivery to Coronado. Use the bell services/valet button on the room phone.
