Split Stay, is that 1 reservation or 2?

When you do a split stay does that count as 1 reservation or 2 separate ones? I'm at the 7 month window for my upcoming trip and I booked the first week, because that's all they would allow. The second week of our trip will be at a different resort. Do I have to wait til the first day of the 7 month window to book that resort? Or can I call tomorrow to start adding days to our current reservation even though it is at a different resort?

It counts as a new reservation. So you have to wait until the 7 month window opens for the day.
