split stay DVC Rental and All Star Question

I am staying 5 nights at AKV and would like to extend it a couple of days at the All Star. The problem is I don't know if I can book room at the All Star then not get tickets (as I will already have puchased them) but still get on the DDP. Is it possible to do this?

Please help me with this question in you can.

You cannot get DDP with your All-Star stay without getting tickets, it is only available with a package.

No, the credits will expire at midnight on the AKV check-out day.

Your park tickets will transfer to your room only reservation, just not the ddp. But since you can use it that first day, if you have some credits left, then the next day you just try to eat cheap!

I will use it to get to my DVC resort, but if I stay a couple days but if I stay a couple days extra at a value will they not let me use ME to get back to the airport?

You can use ME from the allstars on the way home.....

Just make sure to call ME and make sure they have the right info....

If you have credits left from DDP you can use them till midnight at the
allstars or anywhere.....just use the same card that you used all week....

your new card will just be for your room charges and a key to your room.

offers change all the time (i've heard of fast passes, dining certs, & a bunch of others).
if you want to go on the tour, check with a DVC rep (who are just about everywhere ), or call. the tour starts at the AKV set-up in SSR (beautiful, btw ), & they will pick you up & drop you to/from your resort. they norm have lemonade, cookies, etc.

Besides icecream......and maybe a fastpass....I don't think they
do anything special.....

But if you travel to WDW frequently and stay in deluxes or even
mods.....it could be a great deal.
Beware though......owning DVC all of a sudden put me right past the
studios.....and into the 1BR....would never pay rack rate....but
on Sun-Fri stays......luxury all the way

We did something similar last year except we stayed at AllStars first, then OKW. Therefor, we were able to do dining the whole time since they allow you to add it to DVC stays. We bought a package for All Stars with tickets for the entire stay plus dining. Then added dining for our DVC stay.

After staying in DVC, we decided to buy into it. They offered us free icecream and fast passes for the entire party. We have bought in since and can't wait for our first visit as owners!

thanks I called today to ask about my situation and was told that if I bought a package with the DDP for my entire stay at the POP(including at the DVC resort) that I would not be allowed to pick up my tickets earlier than my reservation began at the POP ~even though I will be there earlier at the AKV. The person I am renting DVC points from said that she had done this but that she had to talk to four different people before someone finally let her get her tickets early.
I may just save myself the hassel and risk and just get the room for the night.
