Split Stay Disney/Offsite

I will be staying onsite at WDW for 2 days and offsite for a week after. I plan to buy tickets from a 2nd party (Undercover Tourist) for 5 days and link them to my MDE account. I know I can make reservations for 180+ the length of my onsite stay, then one day at a time. If I buy 2nd party tickets, will I still be able to add the dining plan to my package? If so, do I have to use all my credits for the 2 days I'm on property, or can I spread them out over the next week when we will be staying offsite?

You can still get the dining plan but you'll need to call and do a "ticketless package" this can't be done online. All dining plan credits expire at 11:59pm on your resort checkout date so you won't be able to use them while staying off-site.
