Split Stay BWI, WL, or GF

We are now AP holders so I'm up for my first split stay. Our first trip will be January 21-26, 2022. First 3 nights are AKL Jambo savannah view. Would you choose BWI CL, WL CL, or GF lagoon view for the last 2 nights & why? We had a trip planned earlier this year & didn't get to make it due to the selling of our house. So I'm really looking forward to this trip! This will just be DH & I. It will also be his first trip to WDW.

It would depend on your preference. If you want to be close to Epcot then BWI , if you want to be close to MK then GF or WL. Whilst I loved the ambience of WL , for a first time vistior I would pick GF FL as you can visit the other monorail resorts and walk back to the resort from the MK (and see the fireworks depending on your location round the lagoon. You could also walk to the Poly from the GF.
BWI has the boardwalk and can walk to Epcot and Hollywood studios..

Look at the Club Level thread. The BWI lounge allegedly has really good food.

I agree with this. If you are going to MK, stay at GF. If you are going to DHS and/or EP, stay at BWI. If you are simply looking for the better, overall resort, choose GF - it's WDW's signature resort for a reason.

We decided to go with BWI. I didn't get to book CL because only standard club level is available & I wanted the Boardwalk view. I appreciate the input. I was leaning towards GF but DH just isn't there yet. LOL

Updated stay! Poly opened up for a couple of days. I changed from AKL to BWI waterview for the first half of our stay ending at Poly standard view. Soooooo excited!!
