split stay booking ?

We want to do a BLT/AKV Kidani split, BLT Lake View and Kidani standard OR savannah, 1BR. Our home is SSR, so we are limited to 7 months.
We want to start at BLT 4/3/2012 and move to Kidani either 4/6 or 4/7 (I wanted 4 BLT nights, but moving on Friday would save us on weekend points, so it's up in the air).
I plan on calling on 9/3, which is a Saturday. I plan to book BLT first and right at 9AM since it is harder to get. I will be in the car on the way to a wedding, but these days that isn't a problem.
Am I right in that I can only book BLT at this time, and have to wait until 9/6 or 9/7 to book AKV? Only asking because I can't call at 9AM during the week--I can call around 10:25 due to my teaching schedule--and I am trying to figure out whether I can get Kidani later than 9AM or should I have DH make the call. This is the kind of thing I like to do myself.
We don't have anything booked yet, but I'm confident if we can't get AKV we can book our home resort of SSR 7 months out and waitlist AKV.

Correct, you will have to call on different days to make the reservations.

AKV is the third largest DVC resort (just smaller than OKW). Unless it's a holiday time, I don't think you would have a problem getting a 1-bedroom at KV.

Well unfortunately the AKL portion will be good Friday, checking out the Tuesday after Easter, so it will be a holiday. Like I said, I'm ready to book SSR and waitlist if needed.

Hopefully you'll get on the phone TOMORROW and book SSR so you have a back up plan...you can wait list the BLT and AKL at the 7 month mark....

Meh...not worried about SSR, but maybe I'll do that. Also considering if I can book one or the other for the full week, just doing it 9/3. If ONLY I could choose between AKV and BLT!!!!

Went ahead and booked the week for SSR (first choice CP, second choice Paddock). Now just have to wait and see if I can switch them at 7 months. I hope I can at least get my 3 nights in to try BLT--I can try AKV next time if I have too, although they both look so cool.
