split stay booking question

We are hoping to make a trip this fall that will include 4 or 5 nights on property (BLT or AKL we are hoping) and then 3 nights at Vero Beach. None are my home resort - so will need to book at the 7 month window. I'm wondering whether I can book the whole stay at 7 months from day one of the on property stay, or will I need to book Vero Beach at the 7 month window from the day we will check in there? Thanks for the help - we've never done a split stay before.

You will need to book Vero Beach at check in day 7 month window. A split stay is essentially just two trips.

You will book your onsite WDW stay and then wait until the next 7 month window opens for your Vero stay. Good luck.
