If I want to try to slip a stay, should I break it up into 2 to start with when I book my home resort at 11 months?

Yes, This way, you can modify online right at 7 months at 8 am. If it is not available, then it’s easy to put in a waitlist for just that part,

Just know that when doing this, you will have to wait for the 11 month window for both reservations.

I always do it this way unless I know for sure I won’t split.

Thank you. Figured there 2 different windows but appreciate you pointing that out. I'd do the whole stay then try to break it up 4 days later so at worst case I have the full stay in one place
