Split stay between Yacht and CCV

Has anyone tried to do a split stay between a non-DVC and DVC resort? Does bell services still transfer your luggage/etc for you? How does that work?

We are headed for a single night to Yacht Club followed by our stay at CCV. Just wondering how we need to plan for getting our stuff moved.

Disney will still transfer your luggage. We have done it from a value resort to dvc.
