Split Stay at Same Resort

We added on an extra day to our stay at the POP. We ended up booking through Orbitz to get a discount with our earned points. So I have 2 reservations at POP - a 1 night and a 6 night. Will they notice and have us stay in the same room? I'd love to avoid the hassle of moving. Is this something I should request closer to our stay? Who do I contact about this? And when should I put in the request. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Never count on "noticing." Lots of the assignment process involves computers, and multiple humans.

Call Disney and get them to note "continuing" on the reservations.

Call and link the two reservations then when you check in on day 1 ask about your second reservation. I would say you have a good chance of not moving rooms if you are booked in the same category (preferred, pool view, etc) as it is much easier to do that then prepare your room for a new guest.

Fas mentioned, the best thing to do is phone reservations and have them linked as a continuing stay, remind them at check in. Physically go to the desk and speak with a CM. you may even stop at the desk again later in the evening to see if they have room blocked off for the rest of your stay.

As the PP's have state, call reservations and have them note the reservations as "continuing" and then upon check in, you should speak with the front desk and "remind" them of the continuing reservation.

They should be able to keep you in the same room, but keep in kind that you will still have to go to the front desk and "check out and check in" for the new reservation.

We did this at POFQ and it was fine. Good luck!!
