Currently have a split stay in July for 1st Night BLT one bedroom, 2nd & 3rd nights BLT two bedroom, with a waitlist for the first night for a BLT two bedroom arranged through MS.
Questions are:
1) With two confirmation numbers, I assume I use the first to make my DME reservation? But then will I get the return letter in my 2nd location of the split stay for the return to the airport?
2) First time using a waitlist and this one is for expire 7 days out. If I get the waitlist will I still have two confirmation numbers or will they consolidate them into one? How does this effect DME if you've already got your luggage tags?
3) How does this effect the dining plan reservations? I assume I do the dining plan on both confirmation numbers, but what if I get the waitlist? Will I still have two confirmation numbers or will they consolidate them into one? Will my then paid DDP for all three days follow the reservation?

Make two DME one way reservations. Use the first reservation for the arrival and the second reservation for the departure. If your waitlist comes through, just call DME and have them straigten out anything that needs it.
2) First time using a waitlist and this one is for expire 7 days out. If I get the waitlist will I still have two confirmation numbers or will they consolidate them into one? How does this effect DME if you've already got your luggage tags?
MS should modify such that you only have one reservation. Since your existing two reservations and the "final" reservation are all for the same resort, the luggage tags will be fine. No need to worry about those - the bar code will say BLT for all of your reservations and that is all that really matters. As I posted above, if you are worried after the waitlist comes through and your reservation is modified, you can give DME a call and they will either ease your mind or fix whatever may need it (nothing will, IMO).
3) How does this effect the dining plan reservations? I assume I do the dining plan on both confirmation numbers, but what if I get the waitlist? Will I still have two confirmation numbers or will they consolidate them into one? Will my then paid DDP for all three days follow the reservation?
Shouldn't affect your dining ADRs at all. If you have the DDP for all 3 days now, MS should carry it over for all 3 days after the waitlist comes through. I am assuming the same people are on both reservations. Again, after it comes through, you can call MS to verify.

Good luck with your waitlist. I really do not think you will have a problem if it cmes through.

Is your reservation for a lock-off or dedicated two bedroom? If it's a lock-off, you might should keep an eye out for a studio. Then you could cancel the one-bedroom and book a two bedroom.
