Split stay and two sets of magic bands question...

I really hope someone can answer this question for me...

My family of 5 has a reservation booked at BWI with hoppers for 5 days, something came up and my children and I are now going to be in the area for 2 days BEFORE our BWI reservation begins, so I booked a room only for those two days at CBR, (before my husband arrives for the BWI trip.) My question is, can I begin to use the hopper passes attached to the BWI reservation while I'm at CBR and just add days when we check into BWI? My husband told me he is pretty sure that I can, but I'm just worried I'm going to get to the parks and have an issue?? Please please, if anyone can let me know for sure, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

You can access a package ticket up to 3 days early if you go to guest services at a park or DTD and ask for that access. You won't be able to do this at a resort, and if you call WDW and ask if you can do it, they will tell you no.

You won't be able to book any fastpass + reservations for those 2 days until after you have accessed the package tickets at Guest Services.
