Split Stay and the DP

Hello Everyone,

Sorry if this was asked already. I could not find a post with any info in a search.
We will be staying on property in August 2020. Currently we have a room only reservation for 5 nights. We want to add on a few days at the end and thinking we would try CL. Leave on a high note and feeling extra special.
That being said, we would be eating some of our meals in the lounge. So after doing some calculations on my huge vacation spreadsheet, paying for the DP would not be as economical compared to paying OOP.

My question is this, when we add on our tickets, is the DP tied to the days with the days with the tickets or the room? Meaning, if we buy tickets for 7 days, will the DP be for 7 days or can we buy the DP for the 5 days we are not staying CL?

I hope that makes sense.

The dining plan is attached to your stay. So 5 nights = 5 nights of dining plan. Number if park day tickets is adjustable w no impact to the dining plan.

Your credits will expire at midnight on checkout day (from first night stay w dining plan )
