Split stay and park ticket

Hi! This is our family's first time doing a split start, so apologies in advance if this is a silly question.

But we are doing a split stay and free dining and tickets are linked to the second reservation only. Can I activate my park tickets so we can do parks before the check in date for the resort our tickets are linked to? If our check in for the resort our tickets are linked to is on saurday, can I use the ticket to go to the parks on friday?

Can I do this all with the concierge of the first resort? Or do I have to go to the park's guest services?

Also, I assume since the dining plan is linked to the second stay, my meals won't start until I actually check into the second resort. Does anyone know how early I can activate the dining plan? Can I check in and start the dining plan before the room is ready?

Tickets can be activated and used 10 before a room reservation, so yes. Any guest service location. I have no idea on the dining.

You can use the on-line check-in in your MDE account and set your arrival time for, say, 7:00AM on the date of your check-in.

You can then use the Dining Plan any time on that actual check-in day, even well before your room may be ready.
