Hi Folks,

We're having a family planning pow-wow and our 180 days is a week away :goodvibes. We are staying at the BCV for 4 nights, then OKW for 8 nights and finally GFV for two nights. I know you can make ADRs for 180 days plus 10 when staying "on campus". Will we be able to do that seeing as we're only staying at BCV for four nights before we switch? How will this work?

Thanks!

You will have a 180 day mark for each part of your stay. 180 days from each of your check in days. I've read some people were able to do it by calling, but I was unable to when I had a supervisor on the line that was fixing something else. She tried several ways to get around it in the system, but in the end it didn't work.

If it's REALLY important to you, and you don't mind the hassle of credit card payments and refunds... you could make an overlapping 10 day studio reservation for 1 person at any one of the Disney resorts, then use that new reservation ID to make your ADRs, and then cancel that studio a few weeks later.

If you do this, BE UP FRONT with MS about what you're doing and why! And as an added courtesy, make you calls after 11AM.

MS will be very helpful (from personal experience) because the split stay is vividly highlighted in their system and this is really just an unintended limitation you're trying to deal with... they'd solve it for you another way if they could.

But if you don't tell them, well...personally, I'd be concerned that something could get messed up when you go to cancel the studio later... or that someone might misunderstand the motive.

I just had the same issue for our split say in May. At the 180 mark you can only book as far as the check out of the 1st resort. BUT if you call the dining line on the first 180 day mark they are able to make your reservations for your entire split stay! I just did this at the beginning of the month and was shocked they were able to do it b/c I was told over and over on the boards they can't. As long as you have both reservations linked under your MDE they will have no problem.

They tried but couldn't make it work in my case. Mine is for the same room, same name, etc, but 2 different contract numbers, so maybe that's it. Or maybe they've fixed it...
