Split stay and Magic Bands

If I pre-order the magic bands in colors, how does that work at each resort? We will be 3 days at SSR and 4 days at BWV. I will get the bands before we leave home and will have fast passes booked (using the ticket numbers), so how does everything get to the bands .... especially when we'll be at two resorts. As you can see, I'm lost!!!!

Think of the bands as a key to your online account. They do not store your ticket or room information, but just a code that links to your information. You will be able to use both sets of bands interchangeably throughout your trip.

We did a split stay between Ft Wilderness and Beach Club this past November. It worked great! All reservations, fast passes, etc. worked just fine. I saved the second set of bands in case the kids lost the first - was worried about them losing them in the pool. In fact the hotel held them for me. Never needed to use them.

We did this in October, and agree with previous posters: all MagicBands have all your information, so you can use them interchangeably. One additional comment though to pre-empt any confusion: you will receive unique MagicBands for each resort, even though it's redundant and seems like a waste, which it probably is. Do yourself a favor and order them in different colors. They will all have all your information. (My kids matched them to their outfits.)
