Split stay and dining plan?

We plan to get lunch at Teppan Edo before checking into the second half of our split stay which will have the dining plan. Will we be able to use our dining plan without checking into our second resort first? If we pay for it OOP, could we show the receipt to the front desk later and have them take it off of our dining plan and get a refund?

We are moving from BLT to AKL and we aren't going to go to AKL to check in and then go to lunch at Teppan Edo. We just want to monorail over before going to AKL.

Yes I just did this in October. Just make to do online check in and tell them you are using credits at Teppan Edo.

I don’t think your situation has anything to do with a split stay.
You have the DDP beginning on a certain date. ( Happens to be the date you check into second resort, but that is immaterial). You need to check in to your resort to activate your DDP. Can you do on line check in.
