I currently have a split stay 2 nights at OKW and the remaining nights at Kidani. Tried to booking dining this morning but was only able to book for the first reservation. If I call member services will they be able to book dining reservations for remaining part of the trip?

Interesting, thinking about doing a split reservation in the future. Didn't know this would be a problem, please report back if you get it resolved.

Cheers!

no they wont be able to do that, sorry! We had the same "problem" a month ago and also for another upcoming trip. They recently changed it because we were able to do it for previous years but not anymore. They now consider split stays as 2 separate reservations instead of 1 so each check in has its own 180 day start.

member services somehow did it for me….it took her a little time but she was very helpful. When I called the dining reservations # before I call member services they were unable to do it.

This used to be easy but apparently Disney Dining changed their policy recently to no longer allow it. Hopefully MS will continue to do it for us.

Seems like I just wrote this in another thread today. They didn't change policy, they changed the procedure. In the past, the procedure allowed you to book ten days beyond your arrival date. The policy always said they allow you to book for the length of your reservation. Now, they just enforce the original policy.

Some folks have reported that Member Services, or someone in the dining department will book a fake reservation for the duration of your visit and use that to book your reservations. I doubt it's too easy to find someone willing to do that much work for you.

I just think the system should see my reservations and and allow me to book all my dining for the length of my stay even if I happen to be staying at two resorts. Like I said before I am just grateful that member services took the time to handle this for me.

I just made mine a week or so ago with a split stay- Online wouldnt let me so I called disney dining and was told nope- couldnt do it. Then I called member services at 9am and after a brief hold was able to book for the entire stay all at one time.
