Split Stay and +10 Rule

Hi all,

Crazy question..I have a split stay coming up with 2 nights at the CR followed by a week at AKL. When I call for my ADR's do I only book for the time I'm at the CR and then call back a few days later for the AKL part or does it all fall under the +10 rule?

I have a split stay as well, 1 night room only followed by a week on the 4/3 package. I decided just to try it when I was 90 days out from my 1 day reservation (which is a Friday). Although I think the CM was hesitant at first, she did let me book a restaurant for the Sunday after my arrival. So I wasn't in the 90 day window yet for my package part, but that would have been like 90 + 2 against my 1 night reservation (wow, that sounds confusing, but I think you know what I mean)!

So it did work for me!

Under the old system it was never a problem. However, there are many posts from folks saying that they can't do it anymore. Some have been successful. We're not sure if it's just the software or not. Anyway, I would not want to have to spend 2 different days calling for my ADRs, but it looks like we don't have a choice. I do plan to try when I have to call next month for my split stay in July.

I just wanted to say thanks and good luck to both of you with your upcoming bookings. It may really be worth keeping an eye out to see if people are successful or not in booking all ADR's for a split stay.

Oh crap! I didn't realize with a split stay that this would be a problem.

We're staying 1 night as ASMU and then switching to BCV for 7 nights then switching to AKV for 5 nights. My 90 day window opens this Sunday and I thought I would be able to book everything that is 90+10 then. Oh man this is going to be a mess!

Thanks Sondra - it looks like there's still no clear answer and it depends on the CM you get. And congrats being able to make all of yours!

The CM's have been advised to trust the system.....if the system will allow the booking then it will be done, there is no supervisor over ride key, do try to book your whole stay in one phone call!!!!

Hi all,

Just wanted to update that we made our ADR's today and I was all prepared to make just the first couple days of our split stay. The CM said we could continue on so we did.

So excited that I got everything and can now sleep in on Sunday.

That's great. I too have not had any problems making my ADRs for split stays either under the new system. I had no problem making my ADRs for July, nor did I have any problems making my ADRs for August.
