Split Stay Affect on 90+10?

Why would you keep calling back waisting CM's time which is revenue based after knowing the rules? And then post the CM's name that booked it for you? "Janice" will now prob get in trouble now, oh well, she shouldn't have booked it in the 1st place!!

Good Customer service NEVER gets anyone in trouble. As for "waisting" someone's time, they are getting paid to answer the line and help the customer at the other end (Yes, I did work customer service in the past, so I am talking from experience) and the one's who do it good always get a plug on the post call interview. I was told this can help them with little perks, so always try to do this for them or write Guest Services with your compliments!

Keep trying - I just called and got through with no wait and checked on moving a few things a little earlier or later and I was successful on two ressies. I got 25 minutes earlier at Crystal Palace on 8/19 & 15 minutes later on our last full day at Cape May Cafe on 8/25. I did this using my first 9 day split ressie.

Also - as far as people booking an extra night (for IMACM) - why wouldn't they book an extra night for a package that starts on a Sunday. If you have the weekend off, why would you want to sit at home and wait till Sunday to start your day? I think most people are going to book an extra night and come in on Saturday. Seems a no brainer to me and a way to not waste a day off. If I were coming in that week I would. Also, not everyone books a split stay for the same reasons. I have 9 days on each of my split stays at the same hotel both times. Also - you ARE allowed to book for your entire stay. I've been able to use my 1st reservation and book a full 18 days worth of dining. I was allowed to do the first 90 days plus 10 and then each day after I was able to the extra days. The problem is, that all CM's are just not aware of exactly how it works. Everyone checking in on 8/15 should be allowed to book 90 +10 day and then each day after that add to it one more day till their check out stay.

Melanie,

What time will you be at CP on 8/19? I am thinking of doing breakfast that morning.

oh - one thing that has worked for me when someone said NO - is to ask " can you please just try it?" - It worked all but one time. Or if they say no I can't for that day - remind them you are arriving on " " day and departing on this day and could they please just try booking it.

Please try works wonders.

Awww shucks.....guess there's no chance of running into ya then.

Thanks anyway for all your helpful tips!!!!:woohoo: :thumbsup2

Anytime- Sounds like we will be in MK that day anyway, you never know - we may be waiting for the same ride :)

Ugh. I check in on August 15th, and start free dining from the 16th - 23rd. I tried and was not able to make my ressies. I am worried because I have to leave at 7:50am for a doctor's appointment at 8am and will not be able to hold for very long. :sad2:

We are in on the 15th(one night ahead of Free Dining) and were able to get everything we wanted within 30 minutes of original ADR time. We are just plain glad that the CM was very accommodating.

Well I just tried again, and again no luck, they say that the computer says its out of reservation date range. I guess I'll just sleep on it and pray that I get everything in the am. Here's wishing for some pixie dust!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Did you ask them to just try? Seems strange.
