We will be at POP 9.20-9.29 with 10-day tickets. Wanting to make the most of our trip we plan to stay all day 9.29, and we would like to spend one night at POR in a Royal Room just to have somewhere fun to lay our heads before the road trip back to NC and without purchasing anymore park tickets. With the late summer special, we can get the room for around $180, which would be less than the required deposit for a new reservation. Is there any way to add that night to our existing reservation, or will I still need to create a new one? TIA :)

You will need to create a new one.

You'll need to create a new one, even if you were staying at the same resort. But you'll get another set of magic bands. :)

We did this a few years ago. you will need a new reservation BUT!! they will transfer all of your stuff to the new resort so you dont have to worry about getting all your belongings moved to the new room. We did this and it was so easy.

Yes they will do this. But your luggage will not arrive until later in the after noon. So if you are planning a resort day, either take all of your luggage with you when you check in to POR, or at least bring a bag containing everything that you will need for the day.

OP, it is a completely different resort, so requires a separate reservation. The full amount will be due at the time you make the reservation, since it is only one night.
