We have a split reservation this year. A 1br and then a 2br both at Kidani. Just wondering since we are already at the same resort if it's likely that they would have the second room ready when we check out of the first room. It would sure be nice to just roll our luggage and groceries over to the new room when we check out. Just wondering if anyone's done this before and if they accommodated you this way.

Nope. There's an outside chance they might be willing to lock-off the studio and let you keep the 1BR side uncleaned. But if you have to change units entirely, you'll get treated no differently than someone just checking in that day.

I would say no chance. As AB said, outside chance you could possibly get the studio next to you, does not hurt to ask, but I would plan on having small bills and just calling the valet.

Kidani, maybe. Do online check in for the second room and request earliest available room. Have MS add a continuing reservation notation with your second room confirmation number. When checking in for the first room remind the front desk that you have a continuing reservation.

I'm more optimistic than others that they could have a room ready for you. I stayed at Poly over New Years and had to change midway from a lake view to standard view. I went to the front desk the morning of and asked if there was anyway they could get me room that was ready to go, and they found one for me.

If you ask for earliest available, keep in mind that overrides all other requests. It's not "earliest, and a high floor, near transport." It is earliest. Fin.

We did this exact same thing once and our second room was ready really early, not right at check-out, but shortly after. We checked out, went to lunch, the. Mini golf and it was ready early afternoon when we returned. We just called bell services and they delivered our stuff. It was really pretty easy.
