I just booked a four night stay for February 20-24. I had to make two reservations, one for the first night with AAA and a second for the other three nights with the Spring code. The CM I booked with said she would make a note that it was a continuing reservation. She also told me to tell that to the CM when we check in so that maybe we would be able to keep the same room. Who has done this and are you usually able to keep the same room or do more people have to switch rooms?

As long as they are the same room type, it should not be a problem keeping the same room.

It shouldnt be a problem, we arrived 2 days before free dining last year so ours was 2 separate ressies and we stayed in the same room.

Keeping my fingers crossed! We don't arrive in Orlando until 6 pm and we are taking ME to Pop Century. That first night we plan to just get something to eat and settle in. I am really hoping we don't have to get up and move the next morning/day.

If both reservations are the same room type, then you should be OK. If one reservaton is standard and one preferred, then you may have an issue.

All I had to do was go down to the front desk and sign some papers on the second check in day. I would recommend that you do not do online check in, as it's important to mention the continuing reservation to the front desk when you arrive for the first reservation.

Both reservations are room only, standard view. Thank you for the suggestion of not doing online check in. I will keep that in mind :)
