Split party between Kidani and Jambo-room request?

My family will be staying in a 2br savannah view at Kidani and my sister's fam will be in a pool view room at Jambo. Our kids will want to spend a lot of time together so does it make sense to request a room on the end of Kidani closest to Jambo or should we still request something closer to the lobby and thus more centrally located? We don't mind walking back and forth although in July/August the heat will be a factor but we could still walk most of it throught the hotel, right?
Any other insight someone might have would be great!

There was a recent trip report mentioning that very few animals visit the "end" of the savannah where Kidani is closest to Jambo. If animals are more important, you may want Sunset Savannah, close to Lobby.

Proximity wise (with elevators going to the under Kidani parking, meaning you can exit the building at/near the end) nearest Jambo should work OK.
