If I'm planning on using the single rider option for Splash Mtn., do I still also need to get Fast Passes for it?:confused3

No, you don't. The single rider line is through the exit (or so I've read). But I would confirm with the CM at the front of the que first just to make sure that is still the case.

I have done single rider for Splash. Go to the FP Return line entrance and ask for the single rider pass. They will give you one and direct you to enter through the exit line for Splash Mtn. Yes, the exit line. You will walk against all the other people just getting off the ride and then to a special line where you will cross a bridge right before the log loading area and form a line next to the regular line. The CM will inform you to be ready to move, because when they need you, they need you pronto. I had to wait about five minutes to get on.

That's awesome! Thanks Hydroguy, for being very explicit in your instructions. Those are the best kind for someone like me. :yo-yo:

Do they ever stop running the Single Rider Line? I would love to get a lot of night time SRL rides in. I know they never close the SRL's at WDW, but as I've been told 1,000 before, each resort is very different :)

How many can ride together? Family of five in one log?
Through the regular line (i.e., "standby" line), you can ride 6 at a time and sometimes 7 with children. Through the single rider you can only put one person per log. You will all be separated - that is what it means to be single riders. :teacher:

With that said, I did this with my DS13 last summer and by chance they needed two people quickly and thus put both of us on the same log. But that was pure luck and we were not expecting it.

I do not know myself. I only did SRL once and it was at about 6-7PM. I think they do it until closing.

I have gone through the single rider line many, many times at Splash. It always goes quickly and has always been available when I went. They do call you quick and you have to be ready. The chance of getting to go with another in your party is slim. I do seem to almost always end up in the back. I think once I was in the middle, but never up front. You kind of feel like a "fifth wheel" with some family, but nevertheless, it sure beats standing in an hour or more line. It is really a good option too, if you have gone on the ride with your family and just want to go again without much of a wait. I wish DL had more SR line options like DCA.:thumbsup2
Have a great trip.

I've used Single Rider on Splash maybe 10 times in the past year and have never once gotten a pass. I think they may have discontinued that practice there. (They still do it over at DCA for most of the SR lines, however.)

Even though I know my way, I always check in with the CM at the FP Return Line, then again with a CM once I get up to the (un)loading dock.

I never check in the FP return CM... just go straight through the exit because there is usually one there by the exit.

Since the Park guide map states "Single Rider Service (Subject to availability)", I always check with the FP return CM to make sure it is still available.

It always has been -- but I know the one time I don't check will be the one time it isn't.
