I apologize if this is a tired question, I have looked at all the sites like touring plans, etc... but does anyone have any inside information on the opening date for Splash Mountain? Thank you in advance.

I've seen April 13 floating around as the rumored re-opening date on another forum and from a Disney blogger. I have also seen just "mid-April" as an estimate. Since DLR hasn't announced it officially, these are still just rumors. I would hope it would open sooner than that, especially with Spring break crowds, but the attraction was definitely in need of some intense TLC.

It would be nice if its open the end of March but from the photos I've seen online it looks like a pretty extensive refurb to include a near complete rebuild of the final drop.

FWIW, I wrote Disney asking them when Splash may return. I know there is the disclaimer at the bottom about things being subject to change, but the info seems to be on par with what we've heard regarding a mid-April return:

"Thank you for your email to the Disneyland® Resort.

Our Splash Mountain attraction will return from refurbishment on April
14th.

Again, thank you for taking the time to write. We hope you will have the
opportunity to visit the Disneyland® Resort soon and trust your visit
will be pleasant in all regards.

That stinks. We are there from 4/2 to 4/7. We have only been twice and this was done our down first trip as well.

Anyone know when the track work is scheduled to be completed?

I understand your frustration. It's hard to plan when DLR won't let us know exact refurbishment dates very far in advance.

As for the track work, do you mean the Main Street tracks? If so, that will be back up and running 3/16.
