Splash Mountain Water Factor

On a scale from 1 - 10, how wet did you get on Splash Mountain?

Can you also tell me where you were sitting with your amount of wetness?

My dd and I didn't get wet at all but that wasn't an option in the poll so, I voted on barely got wet.

We sat in the front seat and got pretty wet!

It really depends on the water level too. I've gotten soaked and then I've come off dry. The time that I got soaked, it was a heavy log, I was in the front row and on the right side of the log. The right side is the side that will get the water fall if the unload area is backed up.

We rode twice last week. First time my mom and son were in front seat, dd and I in second seat, and dh in third seat. Mom and DS got somewhat wet, not too bad. DD and I got a little wet, DH not at all. The two sitting in the last seat said they did not get wet either.

Next ride, DD and I were in front and DS and DH in second seat. DD and I got SOAKED. DH and DS only got a little wet.

DD and I got the most water on the first small drop - the water came right over the front of the boat.

The lighter the people in the boat, the less you get wet. If you sit in the back you get less wet. Also you should try to duck when they spew out this water thing prior to the big drop.

If you sit in the front or on the right you'll have a better chance of getting very wet.

I voted 1- barley got wet because when I go on Splash mountain I normaly only get a little sprinkled.

I always ask to sit in the back and hardly ever get wet there, except for my bottom, if the seats are wet when we get in.

Most CM's will let you be in the back if you ask.

I have ridden this about 10 times since it has been opened and the most wet I have gotten was from the seat being wet with a few puddles from the person who rode before me. The "spray" you get at the bottom is pretty refreshing--- nothing bad at all!

Hubby and I sat in the front and got pretty wet. I was on the inside of the car. Love Splash Mountain, it is 91 degrees here today, sure wish I was there.

I've been on it several times and EVERYTIME that we ride in the second row, we get drenched. We also get wet in the front row.

And just because you're done with the waterfall doesn't mean you're done getting wet. It's just starting....

Yeah, that was my theory on our last ride . That's exactly where I sat and got a face full of water I was soaked from the shoulders up, but stayed dry everywhere else. The first time, we sat in the front seat and the same thing happened . I won't go on now unless it's warm/hot out. It's just my kind of luck .

Last time we went in Oct of last year I was sitting in the front row with my 8 year old neice and my sister was in the second row. I got wet, my neice ducked and my sister got soaked - the water went right over my neice and got my sister. Next time I will ask to sit in the back!!

I have gotten barely wey and very wet. The wettest I got was when we were splashing each other trying to get wet. It was close to 100 and we loved getting wet and staying wet!!!!

Thank you for the feedback. Guess I will go when I feel like getting wet is not a bad idea, just in case.

A lady in the bathroom were you get off the ride was absolutly drenched. I couldn't believe it!! She said she sat in the first seat - I told her we did to and she seemed a little annoyed about the whole thing.

WOW! You know, I can understand not wanting to get drenched, but I guess common sense would tell me not to get on a ride with WATER if I did not want to get wet. Next thing you know, somebody will wear a leather jacket on Kali and sue Disney because it got ruined.

Told CM we didn't want to get wet. He put us in the third row. Hardly got wet at all.
