Splash mountain still closed?

I noticed Splash Mointain is closed for refurb. until 2/27 but if you're there could you tell me if it's still closed? Just keeping my fingers crossed it will open a little earlier

I was told that it's still closed but for whatever reason my Disney app has given me wait times for the past two days (although 3 days ago it was saying that it was closed).

Thanks for the update. We were supposed to head there this weekend but had to reschedule for tomorrow. Were the crowds out of control? The wait times on my ipod seemed ok but now I'm wondering how accurate they are since they it was giving me a 35 minute wait for Splash Mountain which isn't even open.

The app is not accurate a lot of the time, I entered a ride was closed many times when I was at the parks last month (there were a lot of breakdowns). Very few times it updated to show the ride was closed. I remember for Splash Mountain, I entered closed and 2 others did recently as well and it still showed a wait time.

Wait times were all over the place but I also noticed that a few signs outside the rides were not accurate, for instance Laugh Floor said 50 minutes but you could walk right in, the CM's were calling someone to try to get it fixed when we were there.

I had thought the refurb was just a maintenance thing? Should we expect something "new" from Splash mountain when it reopens?

Last Saturday, a CM said it was opening next Sat. (Feb. 27).

Splash was test running empty logs throughout the day today. No new lapbars, same old logs are in the trough. They are stating the official opening is this coming Sunday, Feb 28th. They "might" have occasional openings prior to then.

I am so glad I postponed my trip so this ride would be open when I'm there! One of my favorites.
