Splash Mountain during after hours?

Does anyone know if splash mountain will be operating during the MK after hours event on January 9 and 16?

I don't know for sure, but I would assume No. Back before Covid I recall Splash being closed for Evening Extra Magic hours. Also with current deluxe extra hours, Splash is closed.
I don't think anyone will know for sure until 9 January, but since there are only 2 MK AH before splash closes, I'd bet on No.

It gets chilly at night in January anyway.

We bought the January 9 After Hours just for Splash, so will be pretty upset if it's closed. We've done several After Hours events at different times of year and it's always been open for them.

Disney only lists seven attractions that "may" be included of the "more than 20 attractions" open for After Hours. Splash isn't one of the seven.

No doubt Disney doesn't want angry guests demanding refunds because their favorite attraction is closed. They want flexibility about what will be open.

For an event in January, you never know what the weather could bring. Would Splash be running if it's 35 out? What if it's 40 and drizzling?

I'd say go to the After Hours and have fun but don't set yourself up for disappointment by banking on any one attraction.

I got soaked on Splash during MVMCP. After that I said I’d never do it at night again!

It's not listed under the attractions so my guess is no. However, your ticket allows you to enter MK at 7PM and they don't close to daytime guests until 9 if I remember correctly. We're also going on the 9th and hoping to head to Splash before the event officially starts.

I know it was not open on Dec 7th for Extended Hours.... we just happened to ride it just before they started shutting it down, so got in our "last ride".

I do remember last Spring it was open during that time.... maybe it's a Winter thing, not having a "wet" ride open at night?

I just checked the individual page for Splash on the WDW website and looked at those dates and it says it’s open for the event. That could change though

I'd be shocked. It's not like ever open for DAH

We've done lots of DAH events, in summer. Splash was never open
