I must be in the minority; I don't find a single attraction in WDW I would call intense. This would include Splash Mountain, ToT, EE(backwards is cool though), RnRc(though close), space mountain, or TT. They are all fun, have some excitement to them, but none of them cause my heart to jump out of my chest riding them. But then again, I live just over an hour away from Cedar Point and that place has what I call "intense" rides that scare the bejeepers out of me ( I love it). I guess it's the roller coaster nut in me.
With that said, I love WDW and am not disappointed that it does not have what I would call intense thrill rides. There is no other place I'd rather spend a week than WDW, even if it lacks what I perceive to be intense rides.
I completely agree.

And for those who are worried about your 4 year olds, my DD6 went on it just after she turned 3 and loved it. I know that my DD4 will love it when she's tall enough too. I question whether she will love Dinosaur or ToT as much as DD6 did, but I won't give a second thought to introducing her to Splash.
