Splash Mountain down Temp. on 27/06

So Im at the Magic Kingdom and low and behold my favorite ride of all time is temp. closed for the ENTIRE day...yes is was sad. but got some pictures of the mountain witout water to show all of you. Its kinda creepy seeing no water fall down Splash mountain and all the boats stuck in one place...but i figured i should take a few shots...here they are...

look theres no water running down...

the workman working on i think from what i saw the conveyor belt that pulls you back up once you go down the drop and around that turn...

and last a few of the logs that satyed that way the entire day...

My DD is looking over my shoulder and the first picture freaked her out! We're going in November and she screamed "THEY BROKE SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!"

I just returned today from a trip to both Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I am happy to report Splash Mountain is back up and running. Oh, also - for some reason I got more wet than I normally did when riding; perhaps, they added a cannon feature of some sort!

Several people have been saying the same thing for the past couple of months, so you are probably right.

I think they did add a different type of cannon cause both times I rode it I got wet like one night I had to hang my clothes out to dry cause we rode it at night and got soaked.

When I went in the summer acouple years ago they did have water cannons to shot people on every 3rd drop and had the misters at the bottom cranked up to get people extra wet. I guess in the summer months they let people get really wet. Those are cool pictures.
