I read this on allearsnet.com, of course with the disclaimer that closures are subject to change. Anyone know if this is probably true?

Actually, I really don't mind if it is...I got soaked on it in June, I can't imagine getting soaked in January when it will actually be chilly.

I'm sure many people will be sad, though.

It is true, and also Rockin Rollercoaster will also be down, we are there from Jan 4-9, and I believe that that goes down on the 7th.

The RnRC rehab was in the Mousesavers newsletter, but it has not been confirmed. It's not on the official Disney website nor on allearsnet.com - some on the DIS have speculated that it was a misprint and referred back to a 2006 refurb closure.

I hope it is a mis-print too, we just got back from California and went on Disneyland's Splash Mountain and Disney World's is better, so I really want to go on it.

RnR per 2 calls to disney is NOT going to be closed. They said they get notified 6 months in advance for refurbs especially for major attractions in order to notify guests going during the time. Others have also called Disney to ask and were told the same thing it is NOT closing. Splash Mountain will be closed until I think the 27th of jan. :bride: :groom:
