I just booked this our first night at Disney - August 16, we fly in at 1:20, and I booked the 5:15, is this too much? Is the show worth it? Would you recommend eating somewhere else on your first night? We have two kids, 5 and 6...............thanks!

when we took our grandkids to the Luau ......they enjoyed it so much. They even brought chicken fingers out for my granddaughter....I think the kids will enjoy it also...

Is this show every night at the Poly? I'd like to try to book it for our trip in a couple of months. We'll see if I can get one or not!

We just did this dinner show on Dec. 22nd.
I don't think it will be too much, but be warned....they take your group photo before being seated (just like at Chef Mickey's), so you may want to coordinate outfits, or at least make sure everyone's hair is brushed!

**Also try to remember to pick up your tickets at your resort's concierge desk...it'll save you a wait in the ticket line once you get there.

The Luau is definately worth it! We have to go to it every trip. We even get into it by getting "Luau" outfits and buy the picture that they take before going in. The entertainment is great and the food is wonderful!

I'd worry my flight would be delayed.

We ran into a family at FtW one night... they were booked for the 5:00 HDDR show but their flight was delayed and they didn't get to FW until 5:30. They couldn't get in to the show then. There was no room for them at the 7:15 show. The CM was able to change their reservations to the 9:30 show, but they were dead tired, wearing the same clothes they left home in early that morning, and not terribly happy. They were sticking it out though, planning to go into the show at 9:30, and then planning to scrap their next day's plans and sleep half the day.
