For anyone who has done both...which did you like better and why?

I wanted to do the Aloha show...but now I am afraid it will be really cheesy. HDD on the other hand...looks like it could be pretty funny. :confused3

We have 7 people, 2 adults and kids from 8 through 16.

HDDR is much better. The food is of equal quality but the show is far better. Have been 7 times since the kids were 5yr, dinner 8 this June. They really enjoy it. Yes, it is silly but that's the point.

i would do hddr. The show is really funny. if you have kids or anything theyll like its a shw for everyone. They also have amazing food

Does anyone know about the online reservation process when using the DDP? I am doing reservations tomorrow, and one night I want to take my daughter to the HDDR, along with my father. On a lot of the information, it states that full payment is due when making the reservation. But, this is also one that you can use 2 DDP credits for. Anyone have experience on how that goes with the reservations?

Also, to throw another caveat into it... my father is traveling separate and NOT on the DDP, while my daughter and I are. If I don't hear from anyone, I guess I'll just see what happens online at 6:00am tomorrow, and if I have trouble, I just won't reserve this one and wait until 7:00am and call in.

I would do the HDDR with the kids, they will surely enjoy it considering the age group. (Maybe on will get to be pulled on stage and join in the fun.)

I am voting Aloha.
I think HDD was fun but I wouldn't do it again. The singing was only okay, the music was catchy! The overall show was certainly not wowing though. It is more for a laughing night out, but not a wow that was something I haven't seen before.

The Poly gives you more tricks, with fire and dancing with a HA feel. I was watching with how'd they do that. I actually enjoyed the food here more, but I think both were pretty good.

I do not think either is a mistake, both are must dos once in DW, but could be different trips.
