Yes, they do cancel the show if it rains--although many say it depends on how hard it rains. The guest area is under an awning, but the stage is open. Finally, a lot that I have heard about The Aloha Show is not that good. Food is only medicore and the show is slow. I have read better things about the Hoop-Dee-Doo.

Just my two cents.

Yes it is hot. We went in July for the 5 pm show, and I was uncomfortable. We went to the park that morning came back, took a nap, then hit the show, and I was wishing for a cool place to eat by then. We were also in the very back. If there is anyway to get the 8 show, that is what I will do next time.

Do you think it will still be sweltering at the 5:00 show at the end of Sept.? This is actually one of the things I am most looking forward to on our trip. I know some people don't seem to like it, but I think the food sounds tasty and the show sounds like fun, too.

Yes I think it will at the end of Sept. We live in Pensacola, and it doesn't start to cool down up here till the end of October. You will not be in the sun, and they do have fans over head, but it will still be in the 90's outside. The food is very, very good and the show is cute. :thumbsup2

We attended the 5pm show at the end of August last year and loved it! The food was delicious and they had a kiddie box for my DS5. It was a little warm but not uncomfortable. The fans overhead helped. I would definitely recommend it.

what came in the kddie box? Was i suppose to specify on my ressies that I need kids meals??

If it's a choice between Hoop-Dee-Doo and Aloha, I'd say do HDD. While I haven't yet been to Aloha (going this August because of free dining, but also doing HDD, too), from what I've read, HDD is leaps and bounds better than Aloha. We did HDD two years ago in the summer and had a great time. Just waiting outside for Pioneer Hall was hot enough!

I believe it was mac and cheese. We didn't specify at the time of making our ressie, they just brought it out.

I will do it mid August and I don't care if it's 90 degrees!! I love it HOT!!
HOT HOT HOT!!!!!! :sunny:
